Dan Ekis is an illustrator, animator, and all-around swell guy. He’s been earning a full-time living as an independent artist for over 3 years now and as such he’s chock full of all kinds of sage advice and encouragement.
Dan’s story is an inspiring one to me. The guy wrote, directed and animated a 65-minute feature film called Grey Island by himself. He’s currently hard at work on his comic series Soul of the World. When he’s not busy working on that, he’s writing great content for his email subscribers and hosting an awesome community of likeminded artists called Kid Millionaire Clubhouse. From hard-won experience, he knows all about sticking to an ambitious project until the work is done.
Not to get sappy, but Dan’s content and overall optimistic and helpful demeanor have helped me out when things have felt a little dark. If you’re making something amazing and could use another extra helping of solid advice and good vibes, Dan’s your man. Head on over to his various channels for more.
